Chiron in astrology

Chiron is your oldest wound and your medicine: the part of you that aches and heals through when it is given room. What it is ultimately after is to be met exactly where it hurts.

It rules no sign. It is read as a sensitive point in the chart rather than a governor of one, which is why it is measured by aspect and house more than by dignity.

The sign tells you the manner: the same wound looks bold in Aries and careful in Cancer without changing what it wants. The house tells you the arena: the part of life where you will actually meet it, whether that is money, partnership or reputation.

Aspects then tell you who it has to negotiate with. A Chiron squared by Saturn and a Chiron trined by Jupiter behave very differently even in the same sign.
